Merlin Olsen’s heirs settle asbestos lawsuit in LA

LOS ANGELES — The family of Hall of Fame football actor and actor Merlin Olsen has staid a lawsuit with several asbestos companies that they contend caused a singular form of cancer he engaged late in life.

Attorneys for Olsen’s mother and 3 children filed a notice of allotment on Wednesday in Los Angeles but providing serve details.

A member of a Los Angeles Rams’ “Fearsome Foursome” in a 1960s, Olsen died in Mar 2010 after battling mesothelioma.

Olsen claimed a cancer of a lung backing was caused by bearing to asbestos products during construction sites he worked on as a youth. The allotment covers 10 companies that made or used a products.

The former defensive tackle after seemed in a TV array “Little House on a Prairie” as good as commercials and NFL broadcasts.
